As Associate Vice-President, International, you will engage the University in developing the international strategic plan and executing its implementation. Leading the Waterloo International Office in a position of great scope and variety, you will work across all departments and with all international relationships, influencing attraction and retention of international students, enriching domestic students’ experience with international opportunities, and serving as ambassador to international visitors. Reporting to the VP, Academic & Provost, you will work collaboratively to expand international research, and develop new and existing international initiatives such as the University of Waterloo UAE campus.
Whether or not within the PSE sector today, you combine university administrative leadership experience with international experience. You have a graduate degree, and preferably a PhD. A relationship builder, you communicate and work effectively in different cultures. A facilitator and influencer with change management expertise, you are experienced in identification of opportunities as well as development and implementation of strategic plans. You share the University’s commitment to co-operative education and the development of a global university environment.
