| Philosophy: |
 The
Nursery offers daily personal care where children and family needs
are the utmost concern. The Nursery fosters learning in all areas
of development.
With
infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, we feel it is extremely important
to provide for them additional physical affection, positive voice
tones and facial expressions to enhance a feeling of security and
well-being. Many tasks with these age groups are childcare oriented,
and through daily routines and experiences we take the opportunity
to combine learning and child care. We facilitate the "teachable
moment" and plan activities to encourage continual progression
in all areas.

Cooperative Day Nursery Inc. is fully licensed and inspected under
the Ministry of Community, Family and Children's Services and meets
the requirements of the Day Nurseries Act, the Ontario Fire Code
and the Local Health Department.
