General Accountability

The Graduate House is a private club on the UW campus operated by the Graduate Student Association. The cook is accountable to the GSA Administrator / Grad House Manager for the preparation and service of the daily menu, the management of the kitchen work area and equipment, and the reporting of inefficiencies to the manager.  This position is dependent on funding by the GSA

Nature and Scope

The Grad House Kitchen provides food services on short order and at catered events to its membership of graduate students, faculty, staff and affiliate members. 

The cook will assist the Grad House manager in maintaining food costs with portion controls and menu development, reporting shortages of inventory, maintenance of kitchen equipment and workspace and run the line for short orders.
