Primary Purpose

This position is responsible for administration of the Faculty’s language programs, and is responsible for providing support for undergraduate admissions and applications.

MS Word Excel PowerPoint Other
Basic experience with Microsoft Word Basic experience with Microsoft Excel Basic Basic experience using databases.

Nature and Scope

Interpersonal Skills:

Internally, communicates with faculty members and staff to obtain, clarify and discuss information

Externally, makes contacts with students, and with partner or potential partner organizations to obtain, clarify and discuss information

Level of Responsibility:

The job has defined tasks and receives guidance. The job is responsible for oversight of casual staff.

Decision-Making Authority:

Makes decisions about courses and advice given to students; refers students to others when appropriate Makes decisions about details of events (time, location, etc.) subject to overall plans and budget.

Physical and Sensory Demands:

Minimal demands typical of an administrative position within an office environment.

Occasional travel to local schools may be required.
