Primary Purpose

The Communications Officer is responsible for effective communications with stakeholders (students, faculty, staff) in support of strategic communications goals in the Graduate Studies Office (GSO) through web, social media and other digital and non-digital platforms. The incumbent is accountable for planning, creating, delivering and evaluating communications initiatives and projects. The role includes a broad scope of responsibilities requiring expertise in communications, website best practices and digital communications design and development.  The Communications Officer supports internal and external graduate studies events.
