General Accountability

The Analyst is accountable to the Manager, Client Services for maintaining user accounts in the General Ledger.  He/she provides guidance to account holders on matters relating to the management of their financial data.

Nature and Scope

Client Services must provide and promote quality and timely service to the various University departments across campus.  The Analyst must possess a good working knowledge of University business and related procedures and a good understanding of general accounting practices.  He/she must provide ongoing assistance and advice to account holders on matters relating to the management of their financial data through the use of general ledger accounts and reports.  The incumbent calculates and processes internal charges between accounts, in particular the Plant Operations charges to the Ancillary Enterprises and Colleges.  He/she will provide Oracle training, as required.
